The environment is Mint 19 Cinnamon host and Ubuntu 18.04 server as guest running under Vmware 14.I am trying to install Magento on the guest i.e. Ubuntu 18.04 server.

Cleaning /var/cache on Mint 19 Cinnamon

Hello,
I plan to delete the contents of /var/cache on Mint 19 Cinnamon as part of cleaning up the system . It has 700MB data. I dont see any problems after deleting the contents.

Hello, I have on my friend's machine Windows 10 installed. I will restore a clonizilla Mint 19 cinnamon backup on a different partition. After restoration I will boot from Mint 19 live USB and run sudo update grub. Will I be able to boot Mint now? Or will I need to do anything else? Thanks for the r...

The Background setting is already set at /usr/share/backgrounds/linuxmint/default_background.jpg . The new background flashes momentarily and the old one is displayed .

Proprietary drivers havent been released yet for Ubuntu 18.04, Mint 19 is based on Ubuntu 18.
