Kernel 4.14 isn't supported by Mint. Please install highest version of 4.13 kernel, reboot and test

Additionally many kernel changes incorporate just as much code deletion as new code addition, and the addition of code doesn't necessarily translate to more RAM required either. Try 4.4.0-109 . As a rule the lower numbered kernel should take leaser resources. Or isn't it always true?

Hello,
I accidentally deleted a VM running under VMware workstation 14. Is there any way to undelete the vmdk files?
Host is Mint 18.2 and Guest is RHEL (Red Hat)

The backup rate was initially 600 MB per second which dropped to 130 MB after 30 minutes and it kept on dropping. 26gb estimated backup time was 2 hours. Unable to boot successfully win7. So reinstalled win7 in c drive.Have to install drivers. Fortunately the cd is available. Clonezilla, worked on my machine but sane USB didn't on my friends machine.
