Re: 19.1 Freezes after starting a "Wine-Based" Programme

I have tried it with several versions of Wine on Playon Linux. No better result.
I cannot post the terminal Results, as the Laptop totally freezes. Only Ctrl+Backspace helps.
I will try more.. otherwise will timeshift to Mint 19.

Install Play on Linux, then you can use this to experiment with different versions of wine. post the output of a terminal when running it.

I logged out and selected the desktop environment as cinnamon (software rendering) on the login screen. After I logged in, my problem was solved. No more screen flickering.

Re: Boot time is longer in 18.3

Thanks for your helps and comments. I have fixed it. The Issue was the Swap ID. The Swap ID, which I got through "sudo gedit /etc/fstab" was different than in "blkid". I have replaced it with the right ID and the boot time till "Login" screen is only 1min 04 Secs ! Really quick, as earlier......

Re: Issues with (re-) log in, after "suspend"

At last, i have found the solution:

Earlier I used the Open Source Display Driver (Xserver-xorg-video nouveau)

Now I am using the recommended nvidia-384 driver.

Everything is working as usual.
