Re: ATTN!...Intel CPU owners

Question: Skylake 6700HQ Intel CPU, when the new kernel with the fix is available, what happens if you don't upgrade? Is it feasibly possible that a casual user will be unaffected by this? or is this something everyone needs to upgrade because its serious?

Re: Can someone help me install a game?

Open the file manager and navigate to wherever you saved the zip file. Right click on it, then click Extract here. That will create a new folder called 'Insatia-4-1-linux-demo.' Double click the folder. Then double click the 'launch' file. Away you go! There are no instructions to install it, and a...

[Solved] Can someone help me install a game?

There is a game called: Insatia. http://insatia.kozinaka.com/ and its also for Linux too which is cool. If you like the game slither: http://slither.io/ which is highly addictive fun, this is similar but with more action. :D I downloaded the zip and extracted the contents to a desktop folder called ...

Update Manager viewing installs

In the update manager when its downloaded the update and installs it there is a littler drop down arrow if clicked allows you to watch the update install process. Is there a way or an option to make this window stay open for the downloads and update installs without having to click the little arrow?

Re: Shadow & Shade Theme

Is there a program that can resize and convert more than one file at a time? I had a bash at doing what you said. It kind of worked but many icons weren't replaced and it looked a bit of a hatchet job, but many icons were too large and so on. To go through each icon individually and resize them and ...

Re: Shadow & Shade Theme

Yeah I tried two different ways, as just extracting to that location wasn't allowed, so I made a desktop folder called Shadow & Shade and extracted the contents there and then opened /usr/share/themes as root and put the folder in there. I also dragged and dropped the contents of the tar.gz ie. ...
