How you do that depends upon which version of Mint (17.x? 18.x? 19?) you are using, and which Desktop Environment (Cinnamon? MATE? XFCE?). On Mint 17.3 XFCE, right click on the Menu button, then click Move.
Mint 18.1, Cinnamon 3.27, Kernel 4.4.0-130 low latency.

Menu on the wrong side.

On my panel, I somehow moved my menu applet to the right side and cannot move it back to the left side. The panel is at the bottom of the screen.

Re: Qjackctrl won't start

I'd suggest opening the Software Manager, type in jackd , and see if Jackd is installed along with either Jackd1 or Jackd2. If you don't have Jackd installed, that's probably the source of your troubles. I also have Jackd2 installed, but that may not be important in your case. Jackd and jackd2 are ...

60 vs. 85 Hz Monitor refresh rate?

I currently have a 22" LCD LG monitor with a 60 Hz. screen refresh rate. I saw an ad for a Viewsonic 24" LCD monitor with an 85 HZ screen refresh rate.

Would most people notice any difference?

Thanks

Thanks.
Just solved my own problem. Audacity loads and plays these x-wave files. I can then export the sound file and save as a .ogg file.

SSD=Solid State Drive

A solid-state drive is a solid-state storage device that uses integrated circuit assemblies as memory to store data persistently. More:

Re: Can't access my BIOS config!

Problem solved: The problem was caused by having my keyboard plugged into a powered usb hub. The system wouldn't recognize the keyboard when plugged into the hub. I plugged the keyboard into a usb port on the motherboard and it worked when I pressed F2.

Re: Can't access my BIOS config!

Well your new motherboard definitely has a bios entry mode--Investigate that mfg link. It could be F1 f2 f12 esc, del, I have seen others. Some require tapping the key, others pressing Yes, and as I said previously, it was F2 or Del for bios entry mode. That worked before when I had Mint Linux Cina...

Problem solved: Can't access my BIOS config!

I recently built a new computer. I installed LMDE 2 and everything went well.

The only problem is that now, I cannot access the BIOS. I tried F2 and Del but the computer just continued booting.

Any ideas?

TIA.
