Re: Firefox throws the browser offline

Changing pages is done a variety of ways, depending on the web site. The worst is Youtube. It takes forever for all those small pictures to load in. Same for any page in an online catalog.

Solved- Firefox throws the browser offline

In Firefox (latest version) changing pages throws the browser from online to offline.

Any idea why?

Modem/Router Slow Down

In the last few days my page changes/screen redraws have slowed to a crawl. It's especially bad on Youtube-I can go and make a cup of coffee before the page changes! The problem is not the house connection to the internet as my Raspberry Pi mini computer connects fine. The Router is a NetgearWNDR430...

Re: No sound from Sennheiser e609 mic

There was some kind of error running that command. Those lines you posted are in the script itself, instead of the output from the script. Did you run it exactly as I posted? I see what happened: I highlighted the text not realizing that it scrolled to the right. This time I got it correct: https:/...

Re: No sound from Sennheiser e609 mic

Hi Doug B, Let's get a look at your sound setup with this command: curl https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/raw/master/src/utils/pa-info?inline=false | bash | nc termbin.com 9999 The last line of output will have a URL pointing to the info. Pasting that URL is all I need. *********...

No sound from Sennheiser e609 mic

Just bought a Sennheiser e609 mic and plugged it into my M-Audio_AIR_192_6 mic.

I enabled record in Audacity, Ardour 5, Mixbus and Waveform11 but get no sound from any of them.

I'm using alsa under Mint 20.1

Help please.

all41 wrote: Mon Dec 10, 2018 8:53 pm You can record streaming audio using vlc player.
In the vlc toobar click View and check Advanced controls.
That will give you a red record button at the bottom.
What you hear is what you record.
Thanks. Sorry it took so long to reply.

Sorry, JeremyB, I still cannot get the Bluetooth speakers to autostart, even after your suggestion.
I reboot, then the blueberry dialog comes onscreen, but no connection.

Any ideas?

Onscreen Audio Recorder

I used to have a sound recorder called something like Gnome Audio that would record from any source and save as a flac file.

Now I cannot seem to find it. Can someone recommend a program that does this function? Thanks
