Re: Hardware Problems with Kernel 4.15.0-20 and -21

Also, try 4.15.0-21 instead of 4.15.0-20. That's what I'm currently running and have no Logitech wireless mouse issues after the extra packages were installed. I did not (and still not) have the option to install -21. I did reinstall -20 and saw the extra modules are also installed now. Not sure th...

Re: Hardware Problems with Kernel 4.15.0-20 and -21

Just as an inventory the next information.
On -20. No realtec hardware. Similar issue on wireless logotech usb mouse not working while wired logitech usb mouse does work.

Re: Official repositories change when changing mirrors

Thanks killer de bug. Installing the package mint-info-debian-mate corrected the /etc/linuxmint/info file. The file /etc/lsb-release still shows old contents.
Unfortunately this did not fix the problem. After choosing mirrors or 'default' setting the repositories again point to the wrong environment.

On the upgraded system the content is as follows (this holds for both my upgraded systems): cat /etc/lsb-release DISTRIB_ID=LinuxMint DISTRIB_RELEASE=1 DISTRIB_CODENAME=debian DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Linux Mint Debian Edition" cat /etc/linuxmint/info RELEASE=1 CODENAME=debian EDITION="Debian 64-bit" DE...

[Solved] Official repositories change when changing mirrors

After successful upgrade I changed the mirrors via Menu -> System -> Administration -> Software Sources (also reachable from Synaptic) for 'Main' and 'Base'. Afterwards I realized the file official-package-repositories.list has been changed with repositories which look like those from LMDE 1. For th...
