Re: libavcodec update?

I have the same issue running LinuxMint 17.1 and Firefox 50. Mozilla Firefox 50 seems to be a bad release as I keep getting this annoying problem with the BBC Radio Times web page, adverts down each side duplicate across the page and prevent the user reading the page.

Re: How to modify the WiFi icon to indicate internet access

Thanks Jeremy. I am not sure how to change the router settings or select a specific channel, My access point is a TP-Link TL-WA500G which uses WPA, WPA2 security. However this WIFi signal is boosted using a TP-Link Range Extender TL-WA850RE, I simply mated this extender with the access point but don...

Re: How to modify the WiFi icon to indicate internet access

OK thanks, most of the time my internet connection is very good but there are occasions when it becomes intermittent and it would be interesting to identify where in the chain of servers problems are occurring. In my experience of ISP help-desks always pass the blame to somewhere else :-( I have use...

How to modify the WiFi icon to indicate internet access

Currently the WiFi icon in the system tray displays that the computer is connected to the WiFi Router. However this does not mean there is access to the internet, for example there may be a fault in the connection to your ISP or at your ISP. Is it possible to modify the WiFi icon so it changes colou...
