Re: Quickly change GRUB Picture on Mint Linux - gfxgrub-change

Husse, did you observed total GRUB crashing?? What i could observe with the guys trying it is that some pictures works, and some not, worst case is get a grub with black background, but is mentioned on the top of the other post the fix for it (just changing a symlink), hey, good idea, i'll add this ...

Re: Dual boot from a USB Flash Drive

Hey, i did exactly this conf BT3 + Mint on my flash stick , a pity i lost it. But there's a procedure outta there, it's like you make one partition of 8 MB for grub installation, and 700 MB each partition for live-cd. (my case i installed Mint persistently), i don't remember details but that pendriv...

Re: Grub splash is gone after reinstating partition image

seems like you have "one grub after another", one calling another. The best solution for you is copying the info about OS's (end of menu.lst) of the new distro(should be more updated) for your mint menu.lst, after that #grub-install /dev/sda (for example) To reinstall Mint's GRUB to MBR (not sure if...

Re: Mint boot menu format

Ok,

Just updated for version 0.3.4 which detects which resolution is being used (can be different than 800x600), and resizes the image to that resolution, hope that it solves widescreen and resolution problems.

Please report back

Thanks

Re: Mint boot menu format

Hi guys, i think we solved that on the devel topic, but just to register for who reads here after, it was a bug on my script, that seems to be solved after version 0.3.3 , i pretend to release in some hours 0.3.4 with widescreen support and other resolutions than 800x600

Quickly change GRUB Picture on Mint Linux - gfxgrub-change

Hey, I know that this hasn't to do with support, but i developed a tool that i think will help everyone to have a more customized Mint Linux. As the feedback is low (1 person) on the development forum, i post here for more users(that i think visit more support than devel) see, use, and provide feedb...
