Thanks very much . So it's nothing to do with mints updates it's just the removed server then . Its been down since the 9th of dec .

Thanks for the reply but still cant read the text after doing what you said . Just the nvidia driver messing with something . Never had this in previous versions of mint so dont know what happened . Will just remove the nvidia driver .

unreadable text at login screen

Hi hope someone can help with a problem I'm having with unreadable text at the login screen . This only occurs after I have installed the nvidia driver , but if if I remove the driver all is fine again . I'm running mate under mint 13 . Any help much appreciated thanks .

Hope someone can help me . I am new to lmde . After installing lmde im recieving this message everytime i try to update .Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages . Any help much appreciated thanks .

Hi hope someone can help me with this. I have a nvidia graphics card 8600gt but don't know how to install the drivers for it. I know lmde is a different set up to the main edition , so any help would be much appreciated thanks.

Having a very strange problem dual booting win7 and mint 8. The problem I'm having is it's very slow to get to the boot menu, takes about five minutes to get to what OS I would like to boot into.
