Re: Acroread displays PDF annotations
I called Foxit Support and I am of the opinion they are not developing any of their products for Linux . . . notably the Reader. The support person did say that Foxit places annotations INTO the PDF file BUT that some PDF readers do NOT show the annotation . Evince does not show annotations. He said...

Thanks for your early and useful help. I installed PDFEdit. I have to go for a moment but at first look I cannot find where I can annotate a PDF file. I will probably find it. Do you know how to get PDFEdit to a state where I can annotate? I installed Foxit and called Foxit support . They said they ...

Remove & Replace NVIDIA driver
Mint 11 Gnome 32 bit
After installation I selected the "highly experimental" 3D driver for NVIDIA.
The display works. but I want to install the proprietary driver that was at the top of the list.
What do I do to replace the experimental driver with the proprietary one?

SOLVED: How To Stop Ubuntu One
Using Synaptic I installed ubuntuone-client-gnome and found the app in System-->Preferences-->Unbuntu One.
It provides the front-end for which I was looking.
Previously I had installed Ubuntu One from Synaptic but I there was no front-end.

Firefox Covers Whole Display
Some parameter got incorrectly set such that Firefox covers the entire display so I have no access to the task bar at the bottom or the one on the top.
What parameter file do I delete or edit in ~/mozilla/firefox . . . ?
. . . Or, what do I do?
