this is not new, it is just the first time I have taken time to write about it.
it has been this way for many versions prior to the current version
is there anyway to make the scroll smooth in Firefox?

Re: Clamav package
honestly,
I would not consider either of them, period.
I have never installed an AV product, it just isn't needed.
Don't follow links in emails, go to the main vendor's website and login from there.

I have found from doing it many times, that it is far more preferable to just boot up normally, and then when the Desktop has been reached, Plug in the USB drive. It seems to take a much shorter time period for the...

Re: Scroll wheel 3->1 line system-wide?
if you are using a mouse with a wheel, press the wheel, and a new icon shows up. you can cause it to scroll down slowly that way. as for just one-line per click, have never seen any way to do that in 30 plus years. In firefox open a new Tab, and enter: about:config then type Mouse then you can scrol...

Re: Firefox locked up again
You can use 8 GB or 8388608 for the last 3 user_pref ... i am suspecting browser.cache.memory.capacity as the culprit for its default is set to -1 which to my knowledge allows firefox to automatically adjust the memory capacity which can lead to too much memory allocation overlooked that one, set i...

Re: Firefox locked up again
it might be firefox's caching got so big, if your interested in making a user.js for your firefox profile you can copy the following tweaks (notes are preceded by // ) user_pref("browser.cache.jsbc_compression_level", 3); user_pref("browser.sessionstore.interval", 15000000); // ...

Re: Opera Linux is yesterday's tech?
as of yesterday, or three days ago,
YouTube started blocking me with Firefox and uBlock Origin.
I just posted up in Open Chat about this,
switched to AdGuard to see how long that works.

I personally, turn all that crap off.
it is nothing but a Quagmire of potential problems.
cold start to desktop in 28 seconds,

I don't get file transfer apps. I plug in a USB cable and I can transfer files much faster than over WiFi and it charges my phone at the same time. Re: Do I need a separate scanner driver for Canon MF4890dw
I used an alternate method of installing the Canon printers in my home. Once that was done, I rebooted into LM21.3 Cinnamon and Mint found the prin...
