Just like creating a custom auto-complete plugin using an XML file in Notepad++. Is there an equivalent thing to do for Xed?

The Mint Team needs to be creative when it the versions enter these letters (U and beyond). I personally like referring to my OS as "her".

Looking for a Minimalist Gaming Rig
So here are my current specs. System Info.png All I want is a machine that can handle these two games without sacrificing the default graphics options. I even want to make them look better. For now I'm looking at the Intel NUC Kit NUC7PJYH . Is that a good minimalist machine for my gaming needs, or ...

Re: Are You Killing Your SSD with Dual Boot ?
You see, bob466, we're past the Negative Arguments Era ("I am a Linux user because I hate Windows."). We're already in the Positive Arguments Era ("I am a Linux user because <insert distro> has all the things I need to get my job done. This is why you're getting these replies. As much...

That sales man's arrogance is rubbing me the wrong way. He is basically saying "You shouldn't install a 'Toy OS' to such a 'professional machine' like this!"

Re: What do you like about mint?
Stability I ain't afraid of updates, because most of the time Mint has got me covered. Out-of-the-Box Experience With every Mint Release, I prefer flattening my drive (formatting). Apps, music players, network and graphics drivers get installed in there automatically anyway. Yes, I have my files ba...

Is Linux Finally Beating Windows? (Microsoft Windows vs Linux OS Battle)
It's a clickbait title, really. But I give them props in taking the effort in scouring every resource they can get. From the "What is Linux?" to "How is Linux faring now?"

I'd buy a MintBox Mini 2 Pro. Sure, I'm really paying for the Mint Brand, but I'm generally okay with the specs.

Re: I have finally stopped distro hopping!
Distro-hopping has many purposes. Yours happens to be finding the one you can settle to. I don't think the majority of us herewill have a problem if you went adventurous again. And besides, you don't have to hate other distros just because you happen to find the one you love. So, I agree with ajgrin...

Re: I am watching the "Linux Mint Should Die" in Youtube
"The Mint Team should abandon the distro and focus on the Desktop Environment" As if all distros will start using Cinnamon the moment Linux Mint went out of existence. And besides, Mint's purpose of existence if for Ease of Use, Stability and Out-of-the-Box experience for New Users... some...

The only reason I'll be leaving Mint is because I'll get bored of her stability, which is also the same reason for coming back. I assume that's what happened to you.

Re: Why Linux Mint?
Why Mint over other Distros? It's a good starting point for beginners like me. Mint's out-of-the-box experience makes it comfy to play around and break your system - that's right, if it breaks it generally means you FORCED it to. Why Cinnamon? Flagship Desktop Environment - You can play around with...
