Re: yt-dlp

You are using the wrong apostrophy at the end of the url:
Use 'https://rumble.com/c/TuckerCarlsonTwitter'
On the second one the same thing but you also have the wrong character preceding playlist-end:
playlist-end
This should be --playlist-end

Re: Burmese Keyboard

When I try to add Burmese to my pc via menu>preferences>keyboard>layouts>add>Myanmar I get the choice between two language variants, Burmese and Burmese Zawgyi. Is that maybe what you are looking for? (I do not know Burmese).

Otherwise

Code: Select all

Re: Not all windows seem to use the same theme style

Afaik brave comes with its own themes. In its settings you can select other themes. The only option to make it fit better in your local theme is to turn on the 'Use system title bar and borders' switch.

Re: Laggy system that freezes with frequent audio pops

Could not find the file admin:///etc/modprobe.d/snd-hda-intel.con. Somehow the f at the end disappeared, I corrected that in my post. Try it again with the right name. If it still responds with file-not-found then use this command: sudo echo 'options snd-hda-intel power_save=0' > /etc/modprobe.d/sn...

Re: Laggy system that freezes with frequent audio pops

There are some more things I noticed in your system specs: Device-2: AMD Family 17h HD Audio vendor: Gigabyte driver: snd_hda_intel v: kernel pcie: I find it strange that AMD uses an intel driver for the sound, but that may be completely normal. Maybe others can advise about that. If that is normal ...

Re: Laggy system that freezes with frequent audio pops

randomly spikes to full volume Well thats a new one for me and I dont have an immediate answer to that. Do the spikes by any chance coincide with other sound sources like system beeps or notification sounds? And are the pops and crackling gone? Have you checked whether all audio plugs are fully ins...

Re: files and folders not visible in terminal or gui but file are there

What I think has happened here is that you have a network volume mounted at that location /media/ whatever-path. However I think you created those 'missing' video files in that location at a moment that the network drive was not mounted. In that case the system just created those files on your local...

Adding the 'and_hda_intel.conf file
I assume you mean /etc/modprobe.d/snd-hda-intel.conf
Can you show us the contents of it with:

Code: Select all

cat /etc/modprobe.d/snd-hda-intel.conf
