There were actuall 4 updates total available...the other three were not visiable at first.

The other updates are "limatroska, pcre3, tzdata"

I'm new to linux and the warning is what got my attention, especially with all the hacks going around lately.

Thanks for the link, but it didn't work. When i entered the command line the output i got was: /sys/module/video/parameters/brightness_switch_enabled Which was nothing like the output the article listed...i still tried linking it as described but no dice. I tried the other fix listed in the article,...

Was trying to reduce the brightness of the display on my laptop. Went to "power management " to try and set the default brightness but it would not launch...so i uninstalled it with the intention of reinstalling to get it working. But i can't find it anywhere. How can i re-install this app...
