Seems allot of people starting to make the leap away from Mircosoft, I have started down that path too, sadly I have a windows phoneso not quite free yet. But I am working on being free from Google too. Linux come far enough that this should be possible for me.

Im old school, I like a desktop client, more control over things. Wife prefers Web. I use a client on phone and tablet as well. Im often out of mobile phone range, nice having everything downloaded, can write reply and when back in service area again auto send

Try mint on a tablet

Thinking of picking up a second had Microsoft Surface Pro 1 or 2 and installing mint on it, I have considered some other x86 CPU tablets, but unsure weather the BIOS would be a problem, Has anyone attempted this or have thoughts how I should approach this ? Or even other brands of tablets ??
