You have now had it from three sources, yes you can use gparted to resize ntfs partitions, but you are better/safer using win's disk management utility.

Nearly, there is no need to download gparted or install it, there is a copy on your install stick, you just run it.

Yes you can use gparted, when messing around with win C: I prefer to use win's disk management utility.

Your posts suggest a problem between your hardware and a 6.x kernel. The edge edition is 6.5, LMDE6 is 6.1, not sure about popOS. The standard mint iso is 5.15. If you want to try LMDE try LMDE5.
