The disclosure out of Singapore says "Information derived from the App is available by outside parties for a...

Re: Personal thoughts

Speaking of personal Thoughts. I have been receiving hundreds of spam and political e-mails daily for the last year or so. Only 1 or 2 do I actually look at and NOT send to the junk folder. I decided to check the typed of OS the sender was using and over 95% came from Microsoft OS. I made up a stand...

Re: that "Ah HA!" moment...has arrived

Sounds good Starkman.
Enjoy mint with the attitude that mint will do what you want it to do, Not what Windows tells you to do (Like pay for every single app that will time out in a few weeks or months and require you to pay through the nose to get it as well as the files you used it on). :?

Re: How well Tessa run on old Inspiron B130?

I have several single core Pentium M processors running off both Cinnamon and XFC. They run fine with the 2 GB ddr2 Ram. Depending on which one (speed) they even run well with video. :D

Re: Linux Mint and disk space

An example of a small netbook is this one. The tiny SSD is too small to install XFCE in it at 7.7 GB. It helps to use the 2 GB of ram with the 32 bit Distro of Peppermnt 9. It is similar to XFCE but not as smooth. Most accessories it likes to install on the cloud. tomk9@tomk9-Inspiron-910 ~ $ inxi -...

Re: hello from Boston, Ma

I have done over 200 installations of Linux mint since I retired from my day job using MS and CAD. Never going back. Everything I tried to run, on MS, runs even better (with some name changes) on LM Cinnamon or XFCE. With no antivirus software or spyware. And no annual fees.
