Not sure what I've done, however I now have a dropbox folder on my computer and I can sign into the dropbox website. I now have a new problem. Well, more accurately speaking, my original problem. I save all my passwords using Keepass and I have this installed onto my computer. Nothing untoward there...

Can I swap from XFCE to Cinnamon and back
I've installed Mint Xfce onto a 10 year old laptop because I thought that would be the best bet for an old lappy. And Xfce worked quite well last time. And its working quite well right now. However if I wanted to experiment with Cinnamon, is it an easy process to mix and match. If this is possible, ...

Good evening, and sorry for the delay replying. I must admit that I was getting confused with JAVA and Javascript. I was also having a lot of small issues popping up with the operating system. I solved the problem by reinstalling Linux Mint on a re-formatted hard drive. Sorry for taking so long to r...

How do I install Java stuff?
After worrying about Randsomware and how to reduce this worry, I have installed Linux Mint back onto my laptop.
But now that I'm back in LinuxLand I need Java to surf the internet, or do I?
And if I need Java, could somebody please explain, in idiot speak, how I can do this?
Cheers muchly

Re: How can I see my NAS box with Mint 15?
I like to go for the easiest solutions first. A quick glance at the users manual states that it can be accessed by OSX using bonjour. In Linux bonjour is called avahi so you should be able to connect to the device this way. I too like to keep things simple, unfortunately I do not know how to follow...
