Well .. this is a "doh" moment .. went back and looked at the setting for RST .. I managed to disable the controller which would explain it .. so I switched to ACHI and that worked just fine. Mint 20 running hot straight and normal now

Sort of an update .. I have unloaded and re-installed Chromium .. updated it .. still the same issue. Printers work for FireFox and apps // like Libre office ... but when I do a Ctrl P in a browser window it says "Please set-up a printer" .. then goes to the preview page but that just sits...

See .. I should write this stuff down when I do it the first time. I remember having to disable secure boot when I was first setting this up. Loader was still there .. turned off secure boot and confirmed that and back in Mint. Thank you sir ... saved me a bunch of hunting :)

So I picked up a new battery for my HP Spectre x360 .... original was not lasting long .. I was running a dual boot .. Windows 10 / Mint 19.2 Cinn ... that was working fine.
