Re: Firefox - flatpak or Apt-Pinning?

I stopped using Appimages a few years ago as nobody seems to officially support them unless things have changed?

Re: Firefox - flatpak or Apt-Pinning?

Re: Firefox - flatpak or Apt-Pinning?

Apt-Pinning is how i've done it previously , i just wondered if people now prefer the flatpak method now that it's matured in development as early version caused issues with sandboxing.

That's great to hear , thanks for that.

Re: LMDE5

Wonder if the early stages for GTK4 will start or if Clem will just stay with GTK3 for the long term as apparently the Gnome Devs are making life so difficult for customization that it's more akin to hacking? Developer Joshua Strobl no longer has confidence in the Budgie desktop using GTK and wants ...

Having Open/Close and Minimize on left instead of the right was enough for me to shut it down after it booted.

I don't see any need for purpose-made light distros Don't know if you follow phoronix as they have tested Arch Against Ubuntu a few time and the difference (just like you found) isn't as great as people claim. People bang on about how fast Arch can be made to boot with using less services and Dracu...

Re: can i browse firefox mint version/changes on the web?

It's quite possible i've remembered the url wrong and it was something more along the lines of the redirection link (http://redir.linuxmint.com) that was mention in one of the old threads i posted?

Which is highly likely considering it was years ago.
