yes.. and when you choose remove from panel or desktop its gone..
but if your hunting fewer mouseclicks then just use terminal and the commands !

no luck for me..
I killed my ubuntu mate trying to fix same problem
but when trying the diff advices i found my optimal soundsettings :p
wich i run in terminal whenever my soundsettings mess up untill i find a fix

sounds to me like you need to change your boot harddisk in biosmeny, take a look at this link:

Yep if u use any kind of winprogs you have 2 check for virus and malware...;) , cought me by the balls Download ie6 for w2k went fine, installation of ie6..black screen and my windows partition died Nice go with my head btween my as. So quickest way workaround for me is to have A running terminal and when the sound defaults to analog run the command - pacmd set-card-profile 0 output:hdmi-stereo in the terminal. OR run the command - pulseaudio -k (have tried to disable the suspend-on-idle module in /etc/pulse/default.pa with no l...

doesnt help in ubuntu and mint mate 64 bit only temporary..
as soon as i switch resolution, play a dos game, sleepmode or screensaver starts, it deaults to analog output

Grub does not show (got 2 users) and I can't get to grub meny
only mintmeny shows and loops with warning of 10 seconds constantly (aut login on 1 user after 10 sec.)
