Hello All, I'm having trouble with the wifi on said adapter. It connects fine but after a while I will loss connectivity but it will still say I am connected. I had a CPU failure with my laptop. Acer fixed it and sent it back but I had to reinstall Mint 18. I have the same problem as before. I tried the command above but it gives a 404 error cannot be found. Any advice?

Nope Got it! I had to go into bios and found GRUBx64 or something and added it to the trusted executing files.... now on to getting the wifi to work! thanks
