The TV is set as primary. I've noticed that it does it, even when I reboot. So it seems that it somehow favors the DP over the HDMI - even before any operating system boots. So maybe it's a hardware issue

Another weird thing happened too. If I force a restart of Linux How are you "forcing a restart"? That does not sound good. I just pulled the power - screen stops working since I started using the nvidia driver and sleep mode.. so all I can do when it wont show me anything on either screen...

Ok.... I feel so stupid.... finaly edited the file. But no luck. Now I cant see my tv and only my pc monitor works

It also deactivated my pc monitor now... after I changed the file back and rebooted a few times. Now the tv at least works again
