OMG that's a bad PPA why are you pushing PPAs on people when the official download is up for grabs, and why does firefox need more profiles and chrome does not? why do you need to install profiles? and why are people using firecfg when they can not even learn where to download and use firejail firs...

i have a brand new barely used ryzen5 Lenovo and the wifi signal is crap. my free Obama phone i got on the side of the road has better range than the barely used $680 laptop so i bought a wifi adapter.

at boot/grub menu choose advanced options. how many kernels do you have to pick from? boot with an older kernel from your list, do you have any other kernels to choose from?

this is most likely that your bios does not support this cpu even though it works somewhat your bios doesn't have enough updated info to control it. i had similar issues when tried to revive my old 2007 computer. got new cpu rated at 1,333mhz but bios only goes up to 800mhz and 1,033mhz overclocked ...

after upgrading to the official ubuntu kernel 5.4.0-58 i too noticed less performance and some freezing of desktop. went back to the previous kernel 5.4.0-56
