Gotta, Most articles that I have read on this subject always suggest to change to the UEFI settings in the bios. Not changing will not effect the speed?

I looked at the BIOS settings in the boot section. There are two settings boot priority with setting legacy first I think this should be changed to UEFI for a ssd UEFI/Legacy boot is legacy not UEFI again change to UEFI of a ssd reserve memory for UFEI is disabled All of these I enabled on the t420....

The only one that is on the package manager is Tellico. I have not even started testing it yet. Tellico is in the office menu folder if you install it. Seems Debian based Linux has removed many applications. I did download data crow I would advise not to try it would crash many times before running....

I have used clonezilla in the past to image drives which worked fine I did restore one time. Cloning however nope I have been reading cloning articles and it seems that clonezilla does not work 100% of the time for clone. What is the recommended cloning software for LM these days? I figured it out and system back to normal. I reset the fstab file without the noatime. I done some reading myself on the suspect. Things change so fast I did however tweak Firefox settings. I did copy and paste the noatime just before the defaults. I think what happened was when viewed the fstab file the the line in my fstab I will place ---- for spaces in the below line. I finally took the plunge and got a Samsung evo 860 SSD. Installation was fine and man how fast the loading is on my test laptop t420. I needed to get my feet wet first. Well every time I install a CPU cooler I never know how much pressure to apply on coller the connects so I need to get more paste. I assume that any thermal paste is fine? IF I need lots of pressure I think i need to change where I am build it My dinning room table is glass.
