Yes, I read your post. The thing is, when I tried rolling the network manager drivers back and rebooted my system I got the upstart failed "It looks like you were logged in for less than 10 seconds" message. I ended up having to reinstall the OS. I don't know what I did wrong but I'm kinda hesitant ...
