Re: Samsung M2070 AiO printer/Scanner trouble

ClixTrix, I was chatting (a few hours) with my VPN provider. They tried to figure out if problem is VPN or Linux. This is their final results: "To make it simple and clear from what we checked so far it looks to be an issue with linux failing to find the scanner when it has two networks connected, w...

Re: SOLVED // What are you guys using for backup?

Make backup and restore using Acronis, you DO NOT HAVE to run it from Windows! Once you create USB or CD "Rescue Media" from that Windows installation, you just boot to that CD or USB and do what you need to do! I'm keeping Windows installed on one partition just because Adobe Photoshop is still no ...

Re: What are you guys using for backup?

Acronis True Image is THE BEST software for backup and restore ever. It is worth every penny you spend. It can backup Windows AND Linux. I always using Acronis to make full backup, NOT incremental backup. You can make "rescue bootable media" - USB or CD - and use it when computer boot. It is very fa...

Re: Viber on LM19.1

Lots of error messages - which I do not understand - during installation process. Mint 19.1 is giving me many errors doing simple things. Changes from LM 18.3 are almost not worth to running LM 19.1. That's why I abandoned Windows 10 years ago. Less and less optimization available, some settings are...

Re: chrome or firefox?

None of them. Use Waterfox. It is based on Mozilla Firefox, but it is working like Swiss watch.

When you are there, scroll page down, you'll find it there under DOWNLOADS. Current version as of Feb.28.2019 is

Re: Disabling hibernation

gm10, thanx for answer. This is my situation: when no activity on screen - when I'm reading something, for example - screen is going black. Movement with mouse will bring windows asking for password. Is it sleep or hibernation? I don't know. Any idea how to fix it. Thanx in advance.

Pjotr, I did tried your command. This is what I get: mv: cannot stat '/etc/polkit-1/localauthority/50-local.d/com.ubuntu.enable-hibernate.pkla': No such file or directory.
Any other idea? Thanx in advance.
