The only way if you want a GUI, is to test and build the branch. Or study xsetwacom command line mixed with ...

@stovenator : thanks for your message. But they are very out of the topic. I suggest you to open a new thread about. I was just answering AstroGeek's question. Here after the system update, I still have the proposition to remove most of the mate package. http://img822.imageshack...

Thanks @parsilinux , your instruction worked.

The launcher on the menu was launching this :

Code: Select all

kdenlive %i -caption "%c" %u
After editing to this :

Code: Select all

kdenlive
It's work like a charm.

Re: Desktop icon : double-click > single-click

Thanks a lot for your research about Thunar,
I will keep thunar and just learn her, the right click method , and after in the menu "open" ; it's more simple cause she already learn thunar.
I will try to note it on the XFCE forum, to have a fix on next release.
Thanks again.

Re: Mint XFCE and RAM/CPU question

Here I run it on a 1,4 Ghz pentium 4 with 740mo Ram, and it's very usable ( strangely speed for this kind of hardware, Thunar is impressive ). I choose the XFce cause I believe it's faster than the gnome version for this kind of hardware. I'm interested too to know if their is a really big differenc...
