Re: Vintage Gaming

Some of the old atari games go for a lot of money. Too bad I don't have any of those ones. They have a porno atari game on ebay right now.lol If you search atari 2600 xxx. I don't remember seeing anything like that back in the day.

Re: Your computers and Operating systems

All I ever did on it was occasionally look up stuff and play solitaire. That's still all I really do on computers - besides occasionally chat here and there :...

Re: Vintage Gaming

If I get it and think it is junk then I'm going to buy something nicer....(but now I'm off the subject of vint...

Vintage Gaming

I was in a pawn shop the other day and I couldn't believe they were selling an old nintendo for a hundred dollars. I went up to the desk and said, "really? a hundred dollars?". He told me that the older consoles sell better than the newer ones. It is too bad I haven't saved all mine over the years, ...

Re: Don't be boring - add an avatar!

I don't have a real life but I hear him on the GIFs and things that flash at me. I see firefox has some add ons that are supposed to stop them but I'm not sure if they stop the avatars from flashing too.

Re: e-mails blocked and e-mail providers.

I made an account at mail.com. I did it quickly and spent no time checking it out so I hope it's an OK provider. Seems alright so far. I have received everything anyways!! You can also make your email ending whatever you want (they have a list of 200 things, like chef.com or puppylover.net....lol......

e-mails blocked and e-mail providers.

So, I spent a week trying to register for this forum and made a couple of attempts with my hotmail/outlook e-mail accounts - and never received the activation links. I thought the Linux Mint Forum didn't want me as a member or something. :P When I tried to use the 'contact us' on the front page of t...

Re: Don't be boring - add an avatar!

I used the postimage.org one that was mentioned upthread and it was pretty simple. No registering or anything. Just put the link to the image in the box and they ask you if you want it resized (which you do - to avatar size) and then there ya go.

Hello. I am a lady and a new one! I don't know much about Linux but I am jumping right in after getting rid of Windows completely. I look forward to learning - and not to worry.... I am a *slow* learner. :D So when I ask dumb questions (which, I, of course, will) please don't roll your eyes and laug...
