I use Gnome Disk Utility for that which yo can get through the Synaptic Package Manager- once installed highlight the drive you want to change - select the "Additional Partition options" then select Edit Filesystem and type in new name see the screen shot

To hopefully fix this problem try running these commands in Terminal: rm ~/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steam-runtime/i386/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6 rm ~/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steam-runtime/i386/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libgcc_s.so.1 After this Steam should be working properly.
