Re: all videos crash

The kernel that Pjotr wants you to install is supposed to contain the necessary drivers, firmware etc. for newer computer hardware including the AMD Ryzen CPU unit you have, there is no way of telling if or when or if ever, the regular LTS kernel will be updated sufficiently to cover your hardware. ...

Re: Gmail blocking access

Re: Something wrong with the pricing?

Printer manufacturers pretty much just give away the printers pricewise, they make "no bones about" it that they make their money on future sales of ink cartridges and supplies...DAMIEN

Re: So, "Microsoft" called me ...

Don't be too suprised if you find out that your own IP service sells your information to any and all who wish to buy.

MINE DID!!!

They got a goodly ration of crap from me for doing so, along with a "cease and desist" order as well...DAMIEN

Re: ( Solved ) Brave install and update problem

Hi andrew333, im glad you found the "xenial" post i had made sometime ago and were able to successfully install Brave on your system. The update manager in Linux Mint will now keep it up to date for you, no need, like in "FlashPeak Slimjet Browser", to have to update "Brave" separately through the b...

Re: ( Solved ) Brave install and update problem

Hi karlchen, actually the one I posted a few lines above on this OPs post was for "bionic 18.04". and the last numbers on that post i submitted were, 1591675. The other post the OP found that i submitted was a different post for "xenial 16.04" that i had submitted for a "xenial" installation which i...

Re: Brave install and update problem

First off, What version of Linux Mint are you running,??? Brave installation instructions on their website have been problematic for some "bionic" 18.04" systems. If you are indeed using the LM 19.xx "bionic 18.04" series, read all the postings provided in the link provided below...DAMIEN Instructio...

Re: New Build in coming

hi Isemmens, Been there, done that, but a slight correction is in order.

Its not JUST a "vow of poverty".

Getting married is a "life sentence", (divorce changes your "Sentence" to doing "Hard Time"), and each kid is an additional "Life Sentence" to be served "Consecutively"...hehehehe...DAMIEN

Re: So, "Microsoft" called me ...

When i was growing up in the 50s and 60s we kids were not even allowed to use, let alone abuse the "phone". Back then, i remember you only had to "dial" the last four numbers then years later, "progressing" to "dial" the last 5 numbers to complete a call during the very few times when we did have pe...
