Solved How to downgrade kernel

On this Macbook I had to keep holding ESC key to get to Grub > then followed instructions ==> typing normal and the advanced options appeared .So OK back in the old kernel . Thanks a lot !

I did an kernel 4.4.0-53 to 4.15.0-13-generic update , results in very very slow booting ,and did not fix my WIFI problems .
So how can I go back ?

Solved: Not booting after removing and purging intel xserver-xorg

I did start again from my Snow Leopard dvd ,then did a format to Fat 32 . From there on installed 18.1 en did the upgrade to 18.3 .
Boot was OK and normal speed .

Finally my daughter got help from IT student . Apparantly I hustled de boot order, chose the wrong Ubuntu .
I heard that he entered the bios/uefi via Win10 to fix this bootorder .

no erreor message after install .
I saw the grub 2 passing while installation was in progress .
But there is no choicemenu when starting up ( goes directly in Win 10 )
The machine is not a laptop .
Win 10 =64bit
Linuxmint =64bit

Partitioning and installing is OK I think...
but I can not choose between Win and Mint when PC starts .

After restart I always get Win 10+

What is the best way to solve this ?
