Re: laptop screen broken but display brightness still consuming power

fabien, in regards to vbetool: i have no idea if it does something more drastic to DPMS compared to xset nowadays, hence the reason i asked... Maybe playing around with acpi_osi= & acpi_backlight=vendor etc would give better results, considering it's a MacBook... The only other thing that comes to m...

Each system on itself seems to be fully operational. Frans, Windows (no matter the version), cannot read files which reside under Li...

I got to wondering how long the kernel 4.13 series is supported for? I am sure its not a LTS and Tera is going to be using 4.15 from what I read. When should a user upgrade the kernel in general?
4.13 is supported until August.

Re: [19beta] pdfchain out?

...yeap, just had a quick look at it, and it seems that pdftk will need some serious re-writing in order to be re-included in Ubuntu's repos, due to other older dependencies having been dropped. At least it looks like it's currently being forked / re-worked , and hopefully such effort will be succes...

I tried earlier today also further toying around with min-width as well, but had no luck whatsoever (the green theme started misbehaving as well, so i thought i'd just go with whatever it is until others do further reporting)...
