The store says my laptop can last up to 8 hours on battery saver mode, does linux mint have an option for this? (I don't expect 8 hours, but I at least want a couple hours of light usuage)

When i play a game in full-screen mode then exit it my screen just goes black. I've waited 10 minutes once then pressed alt+tab and it just turned yellow. The only way i can fix it is by restarting my computer.

When I do there is no option for folders opening, only programs, and when I tried to open folder it didn't make a sound. I don't want programs to make the sound.
