UPDATE: I discovered saving the .DOC format seemed to work. Previously I was using the .DOCX format, which is the one that did not work!
Tried the LO Forum but could not find anything helpful.

Simple files attached. I click the url from a browser and paste it following the 'Google' text on a new line. When I re-open the files, the link in the .doc does not work but the one in the .odt does.How do you add a hyperlink?

I can send from computer keyboard from email acct to phone text by addressing the message to the phone in the format of 123.123.4444@vzwpix.com
Where it is their phone number at vzxpix.com is for Verizon.

@antonspon, I am not a techy but I have some questions that might help. There may be something that is tying up the sys resources needed.
