How do I Turn on Force Composition Pipeline?

I installed the propriety Nvidia drivers. I have this option in my Nvida X Server Settings, but there is no way to save the X Configuration as the /etc/X11/xorg.conf doesn't exist and is depreciated.

How do I save these settings in Mint 19.2?

How do I create a custom Windows button?

If I go to Preferences -> Windows I can add buttons to the right side or left.

I want to add a new button that moves the window to my other monitor. How would I customize Cinnamon to do this?

Re: 2nd Monitor Problems

That's what happens when you a) have two monitors at different resolutions, and b) persist in turning one off. I think that the best you could do is see if you can drop the resolution of the higher res monitor to be the same as the lower res monitor, though your higher res monitor might not like th...

2nd Monitor Problems Continue

I turn off my secondary monitor. But the system remembers the application loading on my secondary monitory and will load the application into the secondary monitor even though it is off. This is totally unusable until you turn your secondary monitor back on. I can't let my monitors go to sleep other...

One of my monitors is 27inch and my main monitor is 32inch. I am running into many problems: 1. Fonts display bigger on my smaller monitor. 2. Both monitors are aligned with their bottom edge, but when I move the mouse between each monitor there is a lip. If my mouse is moving along the bottom on my...

Suggestion for integration of SSH/SFTP client

It would be great if Linux Mint integrated Electerm. https://electerm.html5beta.com/ This has an MIT licence and could be easily converted into a Mint app. It works great for SSH and SFTP which lots of developers use. All the other I found weren't very good, discontinued like Pacmanger or cost a mon...

Thanks for the arrogant response and giving answer that doesn't help and which I already know. I actually found the answer over at Ubuntu forums, which appear to have more helpful people than you.

Re: Mint 13 Live CD/DVD hangs during boot

The is a kernel bug, I have the same problem with Ubuntu 12.04. I installed Mageia 2 which uses kernel 3.3.6 so we need a version of mint 13 upgraded to that kernel to be installed. I am trying to do just that and when I do I will share it with the community.

Please upgrade Mint 13 to Kernel 3.3.6 or greater

The kernel is causing tons of problems for people to install. If Clem or someone could make a new image with an upgraded kernel we would be a lot better off.

Please upgrade the kernel to 3.3.6 or higher as the one you are using has a Nvidia graphic card issues. This is an issue with the Ubuntu release as well, this bug is also in the kernel you are using for the Debian release. A huge number of people are affected by this bug. The bug will not allow us t...
