Re: Strange security notifications

I made every helpful change I could think of to my email profile, but I've been using the same email for over 20 years without problem. Maybe you only had trustworthy email correspondents for these past 20 years. And you never used your email address for ID on some weak or hacked registration. And ...

Re: New design for the Linux Mint Forums: UserCSS ready to use! Try this FreshMint!

I will try to make some new dark version soon. I will try to make or find some guide on how to change the colors. Or maybe just a quick video. All within 7 days from now. Some time later I could also try a 3rd version: FreshMint-edge. That would be a light version with a darker, flat blueish green ...

An image is worth a thousand words. You can quickly take an overall look at your software sources by going to:
Menu > Administration > Software Sources.

Click on the different tabs to check your official repositories, PPAs, etc.

Re: How to enable Full Disk Encryption on Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon

Save yourself from the headaches and just backup your data first, then reinstall mint and pick the encrypted home option presented during the setup process. Then you can copy your data back. I would avoid the encrypted home option, and go for a full disk encryption instead, as the OP was asking for...
