THe CHKDSK fixed the issue. The volume is mountable by NTFS3.

Re: How to bring NTFS3 from Kernel 5.15 to Linux Mint?
While slightly misty to the non NTFS-initiated such as me, that then seems a specific incompatibility between NTFS-3G and NTFS3 and as a more general answer, an issue of userspace tools not yet being available or at least, not installed, for latter. Yes, Windows CHKDSK is probably a good option; it...

Re: How to bring NTFS3 from Kernel 5.15 to Linux Mint?
I did not yet try it, for safety, but the ntfsfix says that the volume is not dirty.
How could I better check it status? Should I use the CHKDSK under WIndows 10?

Re: How to bring NTFS3 from Kernel 5.15 to Linux Mint?
Hi, I installed a full distro onto a pendrive, added the kernel 5.15.2 and tryed mounting the NTFS partition.
It says that cannot mount it because the volume is dirty and force flag is not set, or there is a bad superblock, or happened an unknown error.

Re: How to bring NTFS3 from Kernel 5.15 to Linux Mint?
Hi, I use Paragon UFSD driver, compiled and ported on my own up to the kernel 5.0.0, since few years into my project https://github.com/antonio-petricca/buddy-linux . In order to migrate from UFSD to NTFS3, I would know your opinions about stability of this first official release of the driver. I te...

Re: missing desktop icons
Same problem for me on Mint 19.3 (Mate + Caja + Marco + Composite): suddenly icons disappeared on my main user profile, but it works under a fresh account.
None of the above suggestions worked for me.
Are there logs for Caja startup?

Linux Mint 19 breaks Dracut
Hi, I am the author of the Buddy Linux project at https://github.com/antonio-petricca/buddy-linux . After upgrading to LM19 it no more installs (by Dracut) the additional drivers netconsole and ufsd (Paragon NTFS driver). Supported by a member of the Dracut team, he discovered that LM19 dracut packa...
