gnome-disk-utility buggy?

Had to exchange a Mushkin Cronos SSD here. German text states "Will fail soon!" http://imgur.com/KN9SZHtl.png Was confirmed by ~ $ sudo smartctl -a /dev/sda showing http://imgur.com/O06PvKxl.png Replaced the SSD with a Corsair Force. Now "gnome-disk-utility" is showing that here ...

Re: Change battery, network and volume mint-y icon to suit dark theme. xfce

First, you'll find the specialist for questions like that here https://forum.xfce.org/ Found that forum very helpful. :wink: or you could try to exchange the icons in subfolders /usr/share/icons/Mint-Y/ with the ones, you prefer. But make backups of those folders, before doing that ... br

Re: tor brrowser

I installed it direct from their site. Unzipped and left the folder in the Downloads then went into the folder and copied the Tor open icon to the desktop. https://www.torproject.org/download/download-easy.html.en That is the way to do it. But I prefer expand it to my applications folder. /home/use...

Re: Install on a spare HDD ?

My disks SSD 60 GB, HDD 1TB, 500GB, 250GB

SSD 60 GB -> LM 18.2 "/"

1TB -> LM 18.2 "/home"

500 GB -> hot swap "backup" disk (have two here)

250 GB -> Win7

Boot manager on SSD, but I can disconnect (cables) SSD, 1TB and 500GB and machine will boot WIN7

Re: Install on a spare HDD ?

I would get me a Live CD (or USB stick) with a partition manager on it. Next step: disconnect drive "WIn 10 c: SSD system disk and d: data disk (windows)" on the hardware side (cables!) Boot with the live CD and re partition the 2GB drive. Install LM on that drive. Bootmanager also on that...

Under KDE I used kdeconnect for accessing my android phone.

Now with Xfce I use Airdroid. No hassle with that USB cable.

Dear Xenopeek, I can confirm it is a bug, because for every application I want to pin to a taskbar, for instance my second taskbar, within XFCE I have to do it twice ... sometimes even more ... this especially occurs when you rightclick on the app within the Whiskermenu and you choose to add it to ...

I can't reproduce that. Not sure what could be causing it. You're using the Open With "Create Launcher on the pane" option when right-clicking the launcher icon on the desktop? Does it behave differently when you instead right-click it in your menu and do "Add to Panel" from the...

Thanx for having a look.

Just tried that with TB, same behaviour.
