Zoom Flatpak Update Reverts AutoScale fix
Hi All, Recently zoom updated their flatpak release. In that release, the zoom client size reverted back to being huge. I have autoScale=false in the ~/config/zoomus.conf file. Does anyone else know how to fix it? The current release I have is: Zoom us.zoom.Zoom 5.3.469451.0927 stable system Edit: I...

Re: Capturing Startup & Shutdown Logs
Why dmesg in a terminal window after boot? As I stated in my original post, I want to configure something to capture it automatically and write it to a file for review.

Capturing Startup & Shutdown Logs
All, I want to capture the startup and shutdown logs on my machine. Looking at the existing /var/log/boot.log, nothing really of value is being written there. I know of the journalctl -b command however I am not looking to that every single time. I would rather have it done automatically. Have other...

Re: 19.3 to 20
Given my experience from upgrading 18.3 to 19 (which destroyed the installation), I would do a fresh install.

Re: Blueman bluetooth stops responding
Not sure of what chip you are running, that said I found an issue with the linux_firmware v1.172.13 & 1.172.14 where it was causing HCI timeouts. I had to downgrade back to .12 in order for bluetooth to work. Thanks sudowhammy. I'll look into that. But what is a linux_firmware? how to I downgra...

Linux Firmware v1.173.13 & v1.173.14 causing Bluetooth HCI timeouts
All, Since upgrading to LM 19.3, I started noticing timeout issues with my bluetooth mouse. I would see the the HCI controller would timeout constantly making the mouse unusable. LM19 XFCE: Application Menu Not Correct
All, Today I upgraded to LM 19 XFCE and I am having an issue where the application menu does not look correct. The menu is a lot more condensed and looks more like a windows start menu. Does anyone know how to fix this? I tried searching on ways to customize it and I am unable to find anything. Than...

Network Manager Not Starting At Boot
All, I am noticing an issue with LM18.2 & network manager at boot where network manager does not always start after a user logs in. This issue happens on the base LM18.2 image and any update with network manager has not addressed it. I am thinking it is race condition at boot because the issue d...

Re: Migrating Alternate Keyboard Config/Mapping to LM (both XFCE)
Found out it was easier to pull the packages manually from the GaOS repository and install via dpkg.
Packages from GaOS repository: http://apt.galliumos.org/pool/main/
xkb-data_2.16-1ubuntu1-galliumos1_all.deb
xkb-data-i18n_2.16-1ubuntu1-galliumos1_all.deb

Re: Compiling Chromebook CMT Driver
For those interested, it was easier to pull the packages from the GaOS repository and install them manually via dpkg. There will be a a dependant package (libjsoncpp) you will need to install in order to install libgestures however it works. Packages to pull from GaOS: http://apt.galliumos.org/pool/...

Compiling Chromebook CMT Driver
All, I have migrated from GaOS to Linux Mint XFCE on my Chromebook (Dell CB 13). I want to compile/install the CMT from GaOS as I am noticing some issues with the synaptics driver. As I am fairly new to compiling things from source, I want to confirm the steps which need to be performed. Here is the...
