Mobo: Oracle model: VirtualBox v: 1.2 Bios: innotek v: VirtualBox date: 12/01/2006 It seems a bit old? could this be an issue? 2. I know...

Re: [SOLVED]Open folder icons on desktop problem

Yes I know, and I am grateful to that... The folks here are way better then Microsoft support I can tell, As I was in contact with them when their update rendered ASIO 4 ALL useless for me. Considering the people here do it just because they can. The only thing Microsoft said was that it was not "th...

Re: [SOLVED] Desktop will not start [XFCE 18.2 Kernel 4.15.0-29]

Thank you,

I had already gone further when I read your posting but it may be good to know, and to create a backup to have, just in case anyway.

// :D

[and the backup landed on 6.34 GB, on a second physical HD, so it "should" be safe]

Ok Thanks! Yes I managed to get into the bootmenu, my topmost and active version of the kernel/boot system was 4.15.0-29, the next boot option was 4.13.0-45 which I started with. Running Mint 18.2x64 with XFCE. And also the desktop started as well. After that I went into the update manager, it was a...
