Problem in understanding PGP commands and steps.

I've seen many tutorials about PGP. I still dont know how to export my public key to a keyserver. Tuturials say something like "use gpg2 --export KEY_ID to export your public key, where KEY_ID is a code in your pub line" well there is no code in my pub line that is similar to the tuturial... Yes but it's not necessarily a RAM issue. Slow to open applications would have me looking towards the disc drive as a possible limiting factor. My RAM usage here with a single web page open on Cinnamon is 2Gb. This is normal and would cause no problem whatsoever on your 4Gb system. Well,PC hangs a lot. and i don't even have firefox open.
