Re: WPS keeps crashing in Mint - how to find an older version?
Unfortunatelly I switched back to Windows just because WPS did not work at all on Mint. Switching to Windows was the saddest day!

Re: WPS keeps crashing in Mint - how to find an older version?
Yep, I have copied the fonts into ~/.local/share/fonts/ and now the flatpak sees them.
Hooray!
Let's see how the flatpak behaves 2-3 days and then I will make a decision.

Re: WPS keeps crashing in Mint - how to find an older version?
whilst the WPS_Office for the Windows System is fairly good - the WPS_Office for the Linux System is an different beast. :o thus you most likely should stay with the supplied LibreOffice Suite - that comes with our LinuxMint System or even with www.openoffice.org instead. I think Libre Office was a...

Re: WPS keeps crashing in Mint - how to find an older version?
I uninstalled it and installed it again. Until now, everything work fine. Is Timeshift a possible solution here? WPS v11.1.0.11664 Flatpak has a lot of very recent, positive reviews. The office package you use should work essentially perfectly. If it doesn't, you are right to seek a better solution...

Re: WPS keeps crashing in Mint - how to find an older version?
Well if WPS is incompatible, and you refuse to consider Libre Office, how about changing to Windows or Chrome OS? That's a serious suggestion not flippancy. There's no shame in using whatever operating system that best achieves your objectives. Personally I find Libre Office does all I want in Linu...

Re: WPS keeps crashing in Mint - how to find an older version?
WPS started crashing again. I just do not know what to do. - the WPS team does not reply to emails - their Facebook group does not publish my posts (always delete them after pending - and I am not a troll nor I have engaged in comments) - even the users who paid complain about a lot of stuff there a...

Re: WPS keeps crashing in Mint - how to find an older version?
I do not use Timeshift and I will never use. I used it in the past and the mess it did made me depressed for days. The flatpak works very good but I do not know how to install some fonts in it, so the only workaround I found was to use the thewaybackmachine website, install some old WPS deb packs (t...

WPS keeps crashing in Mint - how to find an older version?
Hello! I am struggling not to enter the despair. I use WPS Office with success in the past few year(s), I had no problem at all running it under Linux Mint. At some point, WPS Office got updated last summer (I think) and since then, I keep running into this error thing. I thought my Linux Mint 20.x ...

No headphones and speakers recognized by Bluetooth Manager in LM 21
Everything was running fine in LM 20, but since I installed LM 21, my bluetooth headset and my bluetooth speakers are not showing up anywhere. I have spent some hours already reading posts here, but I don't know what to do. Opening Bluetooth manager gives me this: https://i.imgur.com/ws1PbEd.png Thi...

Re: Mint 21 freezes very often - SSD is sick?
I use Linux Mint 21 Cinnamon since the update manager showed me I can upgrade my Mint 20 to Mint 21. Everything worked flawless, not a single problem, until 2 weeks ago... Re: Linux Mint 20.1 freezes
I have had this issue off and on for some months, and it's always Chrome to blame. If you open a terminal window when things just start to get wonky (before it's completely locked up) and enter "killall chrome," Chrome will shut down and your system will be back to normal. If it's complet...

Linux Mint 20.1 freezes
Hello, everyone! I used Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon x64 since the day it was launched. No problems at all until 2 months ago when started to freeze (my red led from the tower gets lit and doesn't blink at all, mouse cursor freezes too and keyboard won't respond either). I start using Linux Mint 20.1 Cinn...
