Tessa Release File does not Exist! (SOLVED)

Hello, my problem started out of the blue and consists of me updating. Every time I check for updates via manager or command line, the error "The repository 'http://archive.canonical.com tessa Release' does not have a Release file." appears. I tried repairing the merge list, which did nothing, as we...

Re: App Needs Root Privilege to Open in Menu

I ran it and it seems to have done whatever it is it did with an output of weirdness that makes sense to certain people. It all still works too so that is good. Once more I thank you sorcerer.

Re: App Needs Root Privilege to Open in Menu

Sorry for the late reply, I got caught-up, I ran it and now it will not accept gksudo as a command in the menu editor. Before it allowed it, it just would not do it.

App Needs Root Privilege to Open in Menu (SOLVED)

I am running Linux Mint 19 "Tara" and am trying to make a Micron Storage Executive to run through the menu. The app requires root privileges to start-up, I had to create a launcher in the Mint Menu, which links to the .run file. The file works, but only with root privileges, what command can I add t...

I reinstalled Linux Mint 19 and the problem has now disappeared! That was probably just some system files that did not update.

Re: Major Timeshift Storage Problem!

The problem came as I was about to increase the storage in my computer, ironically, but I had to uninstall linux for I was locked from doing anything in it other than the terminal (apps would not work). I will update to a larger storage and then I will reinstall it or delete Windows 10 all together ...

Major Timeshift Storage Problem!

I am currently in a strange pickle, I deleted an old timeshift to save storage due to it getting tight (I run dual boot with Windows 10) and Timeshift started creating a new one. However, I do not have enough storage for a new one and am now unable to do anything due to it running trying to make one...

Re: Network Manager Problem, 802.1x Supplicant Failure (SOLVED)

I have now fixed the problem for the most part, I have downloaded the proper driver for my Wi-Fi card from broadcomm. However, the problem still occurs more rarely but still occurs.

Re: Network Manager Problem, 802.1x Supplicant Failure (SOLVED)

Well, the initial problem is solved kinda, the problem has changed, it now will not let me reconnect to a network and does not show the networks available. It has to be a compatibility problem, stupid qualcomm.

Re: Network Manager Problem, 802.1x Supplicant Failure

I have pretty much confirmed that my problem is a hardware compatibility problem. Since the wireless card is made by Qualcomm, they do not support Linux due to not releasing the code for the card itself (same as card details). I am 90% sure that a new wireless card and specifically the one I am gett...

Re: Network Manager Problem, 802.1x Supplicant Failure

I have refined the problem to either a software compatibility problem or the network manager not functioning correctly. When the computer is closed (sleep) and woken back up, the network manager stops working completely and states "802.1x Supplicant Failure" and stops listing any network connections...

Re: Network Manager Problem, 802.1x Supplicant Failure

That does not explain completely what I have experienced, I go to church and they have a guest network, on a single router with no other internet access points in the building and it still occurs there.
