It seems like gnome-disks allows me to format etc. without entering password.
Is that a problem?

Creating partition table and partition was not the problem.

I managed to slow format the 32 GB drive in Windows and checking the drive show no problems in Windows.

What is the difference between writing in the gnome-disks benchmark (dont work well) and copying a file to the drive in file manager (works).

What else can i use to format/benchmark?

I want to make sure it works properly since i had problems copying some of the files from it.
I dont want it to just seem to work ok and then when i finally need the data in 1 year it does not work.

Yes but i am not looking to translate it just on my computer.

I want to translate it like the "officical" place if such a place exists.

Like if i want to translate VLC maybe i go to Transifex.

I wanted to add translation upstream so all users can see it not just locally on one computer.

Seems like something might be wrong with the drive or the computer.
I tried bruning with imgburn on Windows and at 95-96% it just keeps repeating the same thing and never got beyond that point.

Seems to me gnote and cimmamon-settings desklets is using the same icon.
A yellow notepad with a clip on it which i guess is correct for gnote.
