Re: Thunderbird 60 has no Calendar

Lightning is so important to me, as important as my email. I am lost without my calendar of upcoming events. I will have to go back to 52.9.1 somehow. I can't wait days to have a compatible version. After much messing around (....why ?....) I discovered a fix here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US...

Re: Migrating from Outlook on Windows to Thunderbird on Linux Mint 18.3

Further to my previous post: I now have a machine that dual boots either Windows-7 or Mint 18.1. Mint is installed on its own SSD, W7 on the pre-existing rotating storage. Some editing of the FSTAB file and I have access to the W7 disk structure via the Linux root directory entry "/drive-C". The W7 ...

I had been running 18.1 for at least a year with no problems. So I decided to upgrade to 18.3..... It all worked fine for a while until I was in the...

Re: zoneminder?

Update on my ZM installation. The re-purposed hardware which I had fixed un-fixed itself again. The XPS display hardware suffered from the publicized faults found in the web, and defied all attempts (some brutal) to achieve a permanent fix. So I am back using the camera-native IC-9110W features whic...

Re: zoneminder?

Hello everyone, this is my first post in the forum...... ZoneMinder: I finally got it working after four attempts. I read a lot of 'stuff' and didn't give up, and maybe if I wasn't new to Linux it would not have taken four attempts. Here is what I did..... If you have been meddling unsuccessfully I ...
