Re: Linux Mint messed up my folders arrangement on the desktop

On 18.3 Cinnamon this problem exists since I started using Mint.

When plugging in an external device, USB penn drive/HDD or telephone/SDcard, the icon will appear on top of another existing icon.
Icon's will sometimes rearrange... and so on.

Have not found a solution.

Is it a easter egg?
I use that (and volume) since the first time I use Mint Cinnamon.

Re: Do Windows users delete system files and folders?

Maybe use different terminology all together? Since "user space" is already taken, we have user space (and kernel space) already ;)

[SOLVED] Accidently removed panel

Hi,

Yesterday I installed 19 Cinnamon for a friend of mine, he wants to try and is already in "trouble".
He removed the panel and cannot do anything now.

Someone have an idea on how to get it back?

Thanks.

Re: [SOLVED] UFW script for VPN drop protection (kill switch)

Hi, OpenVPN does not provide kill switch functionality, no matter how you configure it. iptables can do it using the owner match (xt_owner module) and it's one of the very few ways to do it properly and compared to other ways the easiest. Take a look at the post of Max-P: https://www.privateinternet...

Re: OpenVpn --> tun0 fehlt

Warum eigentlich TAP?
