autokey-gpk not working from Software Manager, works from PPA
New to posting problems with mint, I think there should be an option to explain problems without having to understand what "bug" means, or ask community for an invite code. I don't need help with this problem, it's solved, but it should be fixed, how am I supposed to report that quickly, s...

How To: setup Nemo to Bulk Rename

Then in Nemo, follow the menu to: edit > preferences > behaviour (top tab)> bulk rename (very bottom). Enter the following co...

Re: bulk rename with nemo
SIMPLE ANSWER:. Install thunar (no need to run it), then enter simple code into nemo preferences, under bulk rename, as follows: thunar --bulk-rename This works, with f2 (w/o any code or regestering), on my mint 19 with nemo 3.8.6 It's really quick, easy, works well, has preview, string options, and...

Black screen after changing login setting. Startx works
Greeny here. I run 18.2 mint cinnamon. Dual boot, 1 user, autologon. I logged out of mint, and from the login gui drop down menu, I chose gnome (or kodi) to see what happened when I logged in that way, I was curious why so many entries existed and what they did. Don't remember exactly if it was gnom...
