Re: Mint 20.3, Edit as Root Thunar not working at custom actions

Re: Mouse has started lagging, dropping inputs
Check if this happens with the earlier kernel if you do regular updates, you will find them at grub's advanced options.

Re: Mouse has started lagging, dropping inputs
I'm on Cinnamon, and keep everything up to date, but for the past few days I've been noticing a lag with the laptop touchpad mouse and it's also dropping input/clicks a lot. I'm not sure if it's something I recently installed, but I think aside from the mouse there is no other lag, i.e. everything ...

Re: Grub not changing boot order
Thanks for your reply. But aren't LM20.3 and LMDE5 both Ubuntu? And they are both on the same SSD. I can select either one from my Grub boot menu but I want 20.3 to be the default so it will start automatically if I don't do anything. And I am pretty sure I am booting UEFI. But I haven't gone into ...

Re: Linux install fails EVERY TIME! Help!
Good that you have Linux on your laptop. Don't forget to use the Timeshift backup of your distribution after the installation. If you post the command I asked you, maybe you can install also easily Linux Mint. Having two Linux OS in your laptop is better than one.

How well go the Linux Distros?
https://distrowatch.com/dwres.php?resource=popularity
I was watching the popularity of the Linux Distros and all of them go down, maybe Linux turns to Windows? Technology has the tendency to control everything, but Life has its own rules!

LMDE 5 grub theme is locked!
I had an issue lately with the grub theme of MX 21 and by removing it is solved my problem. I tried to remove the grub theme of LMDE 5, but it is locked, which means if I remove it will break the system. At Mint 20 the grub theme is optional, why in LMDE 5 is locked?
